Art Exhibition: Veo Mis Huesos
    Blue Star Contemporary
Description: Veo Mis Huesos is a song for Mexico City, a video about improvised music to visualize structure and chaos. This video installation by Thomas Georg Blank, is presented in celebration of San Antonio’s newest sister city, Darmstadt, Germany, in collaboration with the Lone Star Art Alliance and the City of Darmstadt.
Tickets: $5 general admission, $3 for seniors, and free for students, teachers, military, or veterans with ID. BSC is also free every Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and all day on First Friday.

Art Exhibition: As Far As The Eye Can See
    Blue Star Contemporary
Description: Performance and video artist Mila Hundertmark creates a newly commissioned work, featuring performers from San Antonio. Hundertmark’s works deal with power, society, and the individual. This exhibition deals with the subject of decisions and engages each viewer as participant, confronting them as the enter the installation.

Art Exhibition: A Manhattan Beach Memoir: 1945-2015

Description: In early 2016 artist Gary Sweeney created his site-specific installation, A Manhattan Beach Memoir: 1945-2015 to commemorate his family home. For this exhibition the artist resites the photographs and relics from the Sweeney home in the gallery and gives viewers the chance to connect to this special project.

Art Exhibition: From Underfoot: Breaking Through Surface and Ground
    Blue Star Contemporary
Description: The works in this exhibition feature in some shape or form the ground as part of the subject and the artists focus. The surface of the earth is depicted as an active space, laden with tension. The artists featured reflect on landscape and emphasize changes above and below gravel and grass, with subtle reference to natural and manmade disaster.
